WHO WE ARE
Since 1923, the Sydney-Riverview Y Service Club has been providing volunteer service to our community and the YMCA. Our club is extremely active, not only through contributions to the YMCA, its youth camp and its children’s programs, but also to other worthy organizations like the Regional Hospital Library, the Pediatric Ward, Autism Cape Breton, L’Arche Cape Breton, the Children’s Wish Foundation, St. Theresa’s Men’s Club Spring Camp for Children and many, many others.
Funds from our numerous projects held throughout the year allow us to continue this on-going support.
The Sydney Riverview Y Service Club holds the distinction of being the first club to receive an international charter from the organization which was first formed in 1923 in Ohio.
